Robb Ellis
Robb Ellis is a husband, father, grandfather, educator, tradesman, and public servant with a deep-rooted commitment to small-town life and hands-on learning. Born in Los Angeles, he moved to Vermont in the 1980s to begin a career in law enforcement. After retiring, he transitioned into the plumbing and heating industry, becoming a technical trainer at FIA, where he now shapes the next generation of skilled trades professionals across New England.
Robb’s path has taken him through CA, VT, ME, MA, and twice to NH, where he and his wife Kristen have lived for many years. Married over 31 years, they raised three sons and are proud grandparents to two granddaughters.
Robb serves on the Barnstead Select Board and zoning board, and leads Storer Ranch and Cow Camp—rural education initiatives rooted in soil health, regenerative agriculture, and trades-based learning. His podcast, Off the Gravel Road, shares stories of small-town grit, humor, and community.
